Absolute Flash #1—by Jeff Lemire, Nick Robles, Adriano Lucas, and Tom Napolitano—is a wild ride from start to finish, with 15-year-old Wally West suddenly grappling with terrifying superspeed powers and no mentor to guide him, a sharp contrast to Earth-Prime continuity.
This setup leads to countless chaotic situations, including Wally apparently being hunted by the Flash’s infamous Rogues Gallery, consisting of Captain Cold, Captain Boomerang, Golden Glider, Trickster, and Mirror Master. How Wally has already amassed such a formidable Rogues Gallery and why they’re after him remain unanswered for now. However, one thing is certain—the Rogues are absolute bombshells, minus Mirror Master.
