Pokémon Horizons has just revealed the trailer for the upcoming series, Mega Voltage, which is set after a 1-year timeskip. The new trailer features some exciting scenes and some tantalizing hints at what’s to come.

Pokémon Horizons revealed its new series last week, which is kicking off with a timeskip following the epic finale of the Laqua arc. Now, there’s a trailer that teases the new adventure, which will heavily feature Mega Evolution. The trailer confirmed some things that still weren’t clear, while leaving some mysteries, such as what has happened to Friede. Most importantly, it confirmed the duration of the timeskip to be precisely one year, aging its protagonists for the first time in the history of the anime.

The new trailer, uploaded by the official Pokémon anime X (formerly Twitter) account, revealed the new character Ult, who will seemingly be traveling with Liko, Roy, and Dot. It seems that the group will still have access to the Rising Volt Tacklers’ airship, which should simplify their ability to travel around the Pokémon world. There was no hint as to what location the group is currently headed towards, but Roy was shown with his Mega Bracelet and using the Shiny Lucario previously seen in the original reveal.
