Cookie Run: Kingdom – Best Toppings And Beascuits For Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin Pie Cookie was released in the Halloween Masquerade update alongside the costume system for Cookie Run: Kingdom. Though she is one of the older cookies in the game as a part of the second cookie legion, she is still beloved for her spooky Jack-o-Lantern theme and her dynamic with her supernatural doll friend, Pompon. Even though the 2021 Halloween event is long over, her story remains available as a special record in the Tower of Records.
She’s a Magic-type cookie who defaults to the middle position. Since her release, she has not received many buffs or changes and has fallen behind other epic cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom‘s arena, as she has not yet been granted a magic candy. How should you build Pumpkin Pie Cookie so that she can stand a chance in the modern release of the game?
Which Toppings Are Best For Pumpkin Pie?
Solid Almonds Are The Best Choice
Pumpkin Pie Cookie is one of the more iconic summoner cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom and is designed to be paired with the Seamstress’ Pin Cushion treasure. Upon using her skill, she summons Pompon, who grows to a giant size, inflicting area damage on her opponents.

Pumpkin Pie Cookie has a shortened cooldown at the start of a battle and can summon Pompon almost immediately. Pumpkin Pie deals most of her damage through Pompon, so she works well with Searing Raspberry toppings, especially in earlier levels of the game.
Despite not being one of the best treasures to use in Cookie Run: Kingdom overall, the Seamstress’ Pin Cushion increases the attack stat and lifetime of all summoned creatures, which is the best possible buff for Pompon and Pumpkin Pie Cookie.
However, later on, the best option for her is Solid Almonds. When testing her against my team in the arena’s practice mode, I found she is somewhat squishy, and Pompon usually outlives her. Though you may be tempted to lower her cooldown so that she can consistently keep Pompon on the battlefield, this simply doesn’t work in the current arena climate. Several cookies can target her even when multiple front liners protect her. You may want to look for toppings with attack-increasing substats, but you need damage resistance to use her long-term.
Which Beascuits Are Best For Pumpkin Pie?
A Legendary Zesty Beascuit With Damage Resistance Substats
Pompon’s strike deals dark damage, so Pumpkin Pie will benefit from a tainted legendary Zesty Beascuit and synergize well with other dark-type cookies such as Awakened Dark Cacao Cookie. However, she will still fare quite well with a non-elemental Beascuit if you don’t want to focus her Beascuit stats on damage output. Similarly to her toppings, I would recommend focusing solely on damage resistance, as she is still relatively easy to kill with a full set of almond toppings.

Attack, defense, and HP increases are solid choices if you need to settle on something. Pumpkin Pie Cookie has considerably fallen out of standard use since her release, but she still has a charm to her, and it’s completely understandable if you find yourself wanting to use her. Even though you may be better off saving your magic powder for a more powerful character such as Shadow Milk Cookie, she’s useful situationally and can be a solid team member throughout world exploration in Cookie Run: Kingdom.

In Cookie Run: Kingdom, players embark on a journey with GingerBrave and friends to rebuild a fallen kingdom and thwart the nefarious Dark Enchantress Cookie. Combining city-building and RPG elements, the game offers strategic battles, character collection, and kingdom customization, delivering a charming and engaging experience.
