A break-out character from IDW’s Star Trek comics is back after appearing to have been killed off several issues back – and the series’ readers are thrilled to find her paired with one of the franchise’s greatest con artists, a time traveler and trickster that long-time fans of the franchise will recognize immediately.
Star Trek: Defiant #25 – written by Christopher Cantwell, with art by Angel Unzueta – features the return of Nymira Vondect, the fan-favorite Orion pirate character introduced early in the series’ run, who is currently paired up with the iconic rogue Berlinghoff Rasmussen.
Rasmussen will be familiar to fans of The Next Generation, and his return in the Defiant comics finds him part of a brilliant new Trek odd couple, as he works alongside Vondect, heading into the final stretch of the book’s run.
